Cleaning
Before cleaning, pull the power plug and allow the unit to fully cool down!
Never immerse the unit in water or liquids of any kind!
After each use, clean the boiling tray with a moist cloth to prevent calc build-
up and remove the residue left by the eggshells.
The cover, the egg tray and the measuring cup can be cleaned by hand or in
the dishwasher as desired. Be careful not to injure yourself with the egg
piercer.
Use only a moist cloth to clean the egg boiler itself and allow the appliance to
dry completely before the next use.
Do not use metal items or sharp edges on any part of the egg boiler to avoid
damaging the surfaces.
Do not use aggressive chemicals or abrasives or similar substances.
Depending on the hardness of the water and the frequency of use, the egg
boiler should be decalcified as necessary. Do not use vinegar, but a commer-
cially available decalcifier based on citric acid.
