– Installation
The garden pump may only be installed in a try
and
well
ventilated
place. The
ambient
temperature must not exceed 40°C.
The garden pump can be fixed in any position.
When mounting the garden pump vertically, we
recommend placing the pump head downwards.
By doing this, you will avoid damaging the motor
in case of water leakage.
Preferably mount the garden pump on a sturdy
place. Make sure the distance (d) between the
pump and the wall is at least 15 cm.
Before each use, check the pump and the power
cord for any damages. A defective pump must
not be operated!
1. Remove the blind plugs (12) from the
discharge line connection (2) and the suction
pipe connection (3).
2. Connect the garden pump to the water
supply by using the connecting nipple (10)
and a reinforced, but flexible high-pressure
hose (13 mm resp. ½”). Insert the connecting
nipple up to the end into the suction pipe
connection (3).
The length of the high-pressure hose should
be at least 50 cm in order to minimize noise
development and overstressing of the hoses
during operating. Avoid unnecessary and
close bending of the hoses. The hoses may
kink due to excessive vibration.
3. Connect the hose with the filter Assy (13).
Firmly tighten the hose clamp. It is essential
to use the filter Assy (13) on the side of the
suction pipe connection. Otherwise the pump
might be damaged dues to firm particles.
