Operating
5. Switch on the cable winch by using the toggle switch (J) and press it to that
direction you intend to move the load. Do not switch straight from lower to
raise, but stop the machine in between.
6. Press the EMERGENCY STOP switch (K) to stop the cable winch immedi-
ately. In order to switch on again, turn the EMERGENCY STOP switch counter
clockwise until the switch lifts up.
Hints
If the red marked end of the steel cable appears when lowering the load, do
not unwind the cable any further!
If the cable winch is not able to lift a weight, immediately switch off the winch in
order to avoid damages and accidents.
Ensure the load is securely fastened on the lifting hook and keep clear of load
and steel cable during operation. Never walk underneath a raised load!
When lowering a load, please keep in mind that the winch might continue to
run for a few centimetres when stopping, so always stop the winch in time!
Always pay attention that the steel cable is never deflected by more than 15°.
Do not exceed the maximum load capacity. Refer to the technical data sheet
for information concerning the load capacity.
The motor is equipped with a temperature fuse against overheating by
overload. After a resting time for some minutes, you can continue to use the
unit.
The intermittent operation defines the proportion between the resting time and
the operating time. The intermittent operation is calculated in an ambient
temperature of 40°C within a cycle time of 10 min. = 100%.
During an intermittent operation of 20% the operating time is approx.
2 minutes after a resting time of 8 minutes.
Please note, when increasing the load, the max. operating time is shorter and
the resting time longer. If the load is lower, the operating time will be longer.
