Before first Use
Remove the cordless drill and all accessories out of the packaging.
Check all parts for damage in transit and do not use damaged accessory or
a damaged tool.
Keep packaging materials out of reach of children. There is risk of
suffocation!
Charging the Battery
Charge the battery before first use.
In contrast to Ni-Cd or Ni-MH batteries Lithium-ion batteries do not have a
memory effect. The capacity of other batteries decreases steadily but the
capacity of Lithium-ion batteries does not decrease. The capacity remains
constantly until the electronics interrupts discharging. The cordless drill will
stop abruptly, if the charging level of the battery
falls below a certain value.
Regardless of the charging condition, the battery
can be charged at any time without damaging the
cells.
1. Connect the power cord of the charger with a
wall socket. The power LED lights (10) up.
2. Slide the battery (6) as far as it will go into the
charger, by inserting the battery terminals into
the suitable openings of the charger.
3. The red charging LED (11) lights up as well.
When inserting the battery into the charger,
make sure it can be easily inserted. Do not use
force.
