Preparation
Before first Use
Unpack the food steamer and the accessory and check all parts for any damage
in transit. Dispose of packaging materials or store it out of reach of children.
There is risk of suffocation!
Before using the food steamer for the first time clean the basic unit (5) and the
accessory as described below under “Cleaning and Storing” on page 19.
Keep the manual close to the food steamer as it is part of the device. The manual
contains useful hints on properly operating and cleaning the device and important
safety notes.
Possible Combinations
You can use the food steamer with one steam basket only or with all steam
baskets. Thus, you will have totally 5 possible combinations.
Assembly
1. Place the basic unit (5) on an even, dry and heat-
resistant surface. Always ensure sufficient room
over and beside the food steamer in order to
prevent damages to e. g. cabinets or other objects
due to hot steam escaping from the device.
2. Fill the basic unit (5) with fresh tap water without
adding spices such as stock, seasons, wine, salt
etc. When using lukewarm water, heating time will
not take so long.
When filling water observe the MAX marking inside
the basic unit. Do not fill more than 1.2 litres.
3. Place the steam drip tray (4) on the basic unit.
