Operation
Inserting Nails
1. Unplug the power cord before inserting nails into
the electric staple gun.
2. Depress the grey security lever (6) at both sides
of the unit and pull out the magazine slider that is
attached to it.
3. Insert a strip of nails into the right guide of the
staple gun (seen from rear). The heads of the
nails face up (see figure b).
4. Push in the magazine slider as far as it will go
until the security lever (6) audibly snaps in.
Using
The tool is equipped with a safeguard against accidental release. It can only
be triggered if the tool head (9) is pressed onto the workpiece which releases
the trigger lock and when the power switch (4) has been switched on.
1. Load the tool with staples resp. nails.
2. Connect the power plug to a socket.
3. Switch on the unit. Set the power switch (4) to position
I
.
4. With the thumbwheel for hammer-force preselection (5), it is possible to
preselect the required hammer force steplessly. The required hammer
force depends on the length of the staples resp. nails, and on the strength
of the material. The optimal hammer-force setting is best determined
through practical testing.
5. Set the tool head firmly on the work piece. The trigger lock (9) is released
and the unit can be triggered. If necessary use your second hand to press
the machine head (1). Use more force to press down the machine onto the
workpiece in order to achieve better stapling results.
6. Pull the trigger (2). The staple or nail is driven into the work piece.
Avoid blank shots in order to reduce the wear of the tool.
7. Switch off the unit. Set the power switch to position
o
and pull the power
plug.
