Before first Use
Before first Use
Unpack the hopper spray gun and check it for any damage in transit.
Dispose of packaging materials or store it out of reach of children.
Intended Use
The air texture hopper spray gun in intended for applying different types of wall
and ceiling finishes such as natural wall coatings, silicate plaster, sand finish
textures, Latex textures, reinforcement adhesives, snow flake textures etc.
Compressed Air
For trouble-free operation of the hopper spray gun clean compressed air is
required. Corrosion residues, dust and dirt from the pipes reduce the efficiency of
the tool and will cause technical problems.
For best spraying results use a separate air hose exclusively for working with the
hopper spray gun. Other air hoses may contain residual oil which will contaminate
the coating material.
If possible, the air should be cleaned with a fine filter system. The air pressure
should be monitored as close to the hopper spray gun as possible, because air
cleaners and air hoses may reduce the air pressure significantly. Use an air hose
suitable for 10 bar with an interior diameter of at least 8 mm.
Setting the air pressure:
The hopper spray gun is used with attached air pressure gauge: Adjust the air
pressure limiter until the desired pressure is reached.
The hopper spray gun is used without attached air pressure gauge: Keep in mind
that pressure is lost in relation to the length and interior diameter of the hose. A
pressure loss of 0.6 – 0.8 bar for a 10 meter hose with an interior diameter of 9
mm can be assumed.
Preparing the Surface
Make sure the surface to be coated (ceiling, wall) is clean, dry and free of grease
and dust.
