With this device watch backs or glasses or instrument backs can
be installed quickly, conveniently and without risk of damage. 12
nylon dies of different sizes are included.
The unit is only suitable for pressed in backs, not for screw
backs!
Use the die suitable for your watch. The lower die, which
supports the watch housing, the die should not rest on the glass
or back of the watch, it should support the housing.
Select which matches the back or cover you intend to set.
Preferably use a die which supports the edge of the cover, but
not the centre.
Attach the lower die, which supports the watch, to the lower
pusher of the machine.
Attach the upper pusher, with which you intend set the cover, to
the upper pusher of the machine.
Please check whether the back of your watch has a notch for the
crown. If yes, place the back accordingly. Place the watch with
the cover placed and aligned on it in the machine. Make sure
watch and cover are well aligned and centred on the watch.
Carefully press the cover into place by lowering the lever.
When setting a glass or glass back, make extra sure everything
is well centred and aligned, and make sure the glass fits
perfectly.
