Rain gutters and downspouts blocked by leafs are a constant nuisance. Passers-
by are annoyed, the walls are soiled and in the end the roof is damaged and the
house infested with mildew. In a nutshell, you loose all the advantages of having
rain gutters at all. Every year the annoying and dangerous task of cleaning the
rain gutters is due.
With the Westfalia gutter protection
you can forget all this after you once
installed it. Just flush your gutters
every few years and you are done.
Stainless steel sheets and durable
clips ensure a long service life.
Make sure that the cover fits your
rain gutter. The cover is available in
10, 12.5, and 15 cm wide.
Mounting clips are included with the package. The clips are made of metal and
are 18 cm long.
1. Cut the covers down to the right length
with plate shears or a similar tool. Be
careful, the edges can be very sharp.
Always wear gloves during this work.
2. Clip the mounting clips into the holes in
the cover with the tongues in regular
intervals. The hook-shaped part of the
clips must reach over the cover edge.
3. Push the cover under your roofing and
clip it to the rolled edge of the gutter by means of the clips. Water from the
roof must be able to drain into the gutter, but leafs shall be kept out.
Always take precautions against falling off the roof while involved in
this work.
