Tie Down:
Slide the belt through the load you intend to fasten and secure the belt
with the hook on the other end, e. g. on the trailer. Fasten the other hook on the
trailer and slide the belt through the slot A (see figure) and pull the belt to fasten
the load. In order to tie down the load, move the ratchet B forth and back until the
belt is tightly tensed. To lock the belt, fold down the ratchet B.
Before using the ratchet tie down, observe that there are at least 1.5 wraps (max.
3 wraps) of the belt on the ratchet (inner roll with slot) so the belt cannot slip out
of the ratchet.
Loosen the tie down:
Fold up the ratchet B. Press the lock C down and keep it
pressed. Tilt the ratchet B up to 180° until the ratchet is in a horizontal position.
The locking mechanism (inner roll with slot) is unlocked. Now you can slack off
the belt and pull the belt out.
