Safety Notes

Please note the following safety notes to avoid malfunctions,
damage or physical injury:
Make sure the voltage corresponds to the type label on the appliance.
Use the appliance only for its intended purposes.
Persons with limited physical, sensorial or mental abilities are not allowed to
use the appliance, unless they are supervised for their safety by a qualified
person or are briefed by the responsible person how to use the appliance.
Never leave the appliance unsupervised when in use. Keep out of reach of
children or persons in need of supervision.
Place the appliance on a solid, level and heat-proof surface. Place the
appliance away from other objects and always make sure that no inflammable
objects, such as newspaper, PVC, alcohol, tablecloths, flooring, curtains etc.
are located close to the appliance during use.
Never immerse the appliance in water or any other liquid. Only the grill plate
and the pans can be washed into the dishwasher.
Never place the appliance near or on hot surfaces. Do not cover the
appliance and do not store anything on appliance.
Please switch OFF the appliance and unplug from the power supply before
cleaning or when not in use. Never use the appliance outside and always
place it in a dry place.
Never move the appliance by pulling the cord. Make sure the cord cannot get
caught in any way. Do not wind the cord around the appliance and do not
bend it.
Do not move the appliance when in operation. There is risk of burn! Do not
use the appliance and the power plug with wet hands.
Please keep this appliance and the accessories clean at all times as they
come into direct contact with food.
Use the appliance only for domestic purposes and in the way indicated in
these instructions. The appliance is not designed for continuous, professional
use.
Use only original spare parts which can be requested by Westfalia.
Should the appliance become damaged do not use it and have it repaired by
a professional or contact our customer support department. Do not disas-
semble the appliance or try repairing it yourself.
