Assembly and Using
Move the cross slide (40) by using the
knurled screw (3), until a tooth is at the
right angle to the grinding wheel. Once you
have adjusted the correct postion, fix the
saw blade with the detent (5).
Withdraw the drilling machine handle (2)
with the grinding wheel and move the
circular saw blade as far in the direction of
the grinding wheel as you wish to grind
from the saw tooth. Turn on the drilling
machine and start grinding.
To grind the next tooth, you do not need to
make any readjustments Just withdraw the
detent, rotate the saw blade by one notch
and refix the saw blade with the detent
again.
Sharpening large Circular Saw Blades
For grinding saw blades with a diameter over
50 cm, the cross slide cannot be pulled back
far enough on the base element. In this use
you will need the extension bar (37).
Dismount the saw blade holder (7) from the
cross slide. Fix the saw blade
holder in the appropriate holes
in the extension bar (37) and
mount the extension bar onto
the cross slide (40).
For adjusting the correct
grinding position, proceed as
described previously.
