Safety Notes
Please note the following safety notes to avoid malfunctions,
damage or physical injury:
This manual belongs to the product. It contains important notes on operating
the unit. Please pass it on along with the unit if it is handed over to a third
party.
Dispose of the packaging materials carefully. The plastic bags may become a
deadly toy for children.
Make sure the mains voltage in your area corresponds to the input voltage
stated on the type label of the charger.
Persons with limited physical, sensorial or mental abilities are not allowed to
use the tool, unless they are supervised and briefed for their safety by a quali-
fied person.
Only use the unit for the purpose described in this manual and with the
included accessory.
Do not pull on the mains cable of the charger but grasp the plug itself to
unplug from power mains. Never unplug the charger with wet hands.
The charging adaptor is exclusively designed for use with this product. Do not
attempt to use it for other rechargeable products. Do not attempt to charge the
unit with a different charger.
Supervise closely when the device is used near children. Do not allow children
to use the device. It is not a toy.
Protect the hair clipper from dust, dirt, extreme temperatures and humidity. Do
not immerse the unit in liquids of any kind. Do not use the unit if it has fallen
into water.
Do not keep the unit in a place where it can fall or be pulled into a bathtub or
washbasin. Do not use the unit in the bath or shower.
Keep the cable away from hot surfaces and sharp edges.
Before use, make sure that the blade is accurately aligned. Do not insert any
object in the openings of the device.
Never use the unit if the guide comb is damaged or broken, or if the teeth are
broken off, as this can lead to injury.
Never put the unit down during operation – switch it off first, in order to save
battery power.
