Using
The drag pointer remains at the peak value that has been reached. So you
can monitor the drop in pressure. When needed the drag pointer can be
reset manually by turning it counter clockwise.
4. After the specified test pressure has been reached, close valve V1. If the
test pressure accidentally should have been exceeded, first slightly open
valve V2 until the desired pressure is reached. Then close valve V2.
Test pressure, test duration, permitted drop in pressure, and other techni-
cal specifications can be gathered from the according standards. By all
means note the manufacturer’s information and ask an expert in case of
uncertainty.
5. After the test period when the test for leaks has been carried out, open
valves V1 and V2 in order to empty the test system.
Maintenance and Cleaning
Before cleaning the sanitary pressure test pump,
uncouple it from the system.
After each use clean all parts of the test pump
thoroughly with water.
Lubricate the grease nipple (5) in regular intervals with
water-repellent silicone grease.
When unused for long periods, protect the test pump
against corrosion, dust and dirt. Defective valves
reduce the effectiveness of the test pump.
Completely empty the test pump when there is risk of
frost.
