Safety Notes
When filling the fuel compartment make sure not to spill fuel. Do not allow
the Bio Ethanol to come into contact with eyes, mucous membranes, and
skin and do not inhale the Bio Ethanol vapours.
Spilled Bio Ethanol may leave behind lustreless marks on a wooden floor.
Immediately wipe up any spilled Bio Ethanol and then wipe the affected
area again using water so there is no risk of accidental ignition. If Bio
Ethanol is spilled out on small carpets, immediately wipe the area or
remove the unit.
Never pour Bio Ethanol onto an active fire or in the fuel compartment if it is
still hot.
Do not directly ignite the Bio Ethanol! Wait for some minutes. Do not use
matches or a short cigarette lighter to ignite the Bio Ethanol directly.
Store the Bio Ethanol out of reach of children and pets. Tightly close the
Bio Ethanol bottle and store it in a cool place. Due to the high flammability
of Bio Ethanol, the fuel must not be exposed to direct sunlight, heat
sources or open flames. It is advisable not to store large quantities of Bio
Ethanol in your home.
Bio Ethanol must always be stored tightly closed so the alcohol cannot
evaporate.
Do not try to additionally kindle the flame with objects such as hair dryer,
bellows etc.
If, despite all safety precautions, a fire breaks out, alcohol-resistant foam
or carbon dioxide are suitable extinguishing agents.
Never
extinguish the
fire with water! For safety reasons always keep a fire extinguisher or a fire
blanket ready available, close to the fireplace.
If the wall fireplace itself or the accessories become damaged, do not use
the wall fireplace.
If the wall fireplace has been damaged, contact our customer support
department. Do not attempt to repair it yourself and do not disassemble
the fireplace.
Before mounting and using the wall fireplace, please observe and practice
the national regulations and local provisions.
