Safety Notes
Please carefully read all chapters of the manual prior to use the fireplace.
Please note that an open fire always presents a potential risk.
Persons with limited physical, sensorial or mental abilities are not allowed
to use the fireplace, unless they are supervised or briefed for their safety
by a qualified person.
Never leave the fireplace burning unattended, not even for short
time. Keep children and pets out of reach of the fireplace and the
open flame. Attention: Open flame and hot surface!
Be alert when igniting the fireplace in the presence of children. Keep Bio
Ethanol and lighters out of reach of children. Also observe the notices on
the Bio-Ethanol bottle.
The fireplace is designed for burning fireplace Bio Ethanol for decorative
purposes only. The fireplace is not suitable for room heating.
Do not use the wall fireplace for other purposes and do not use other fuels
for burning
. Do not use the wall fireplace for preparing food etc. over the
fire
.
The wall fireplace is designed for private use and not for commercial use.
When selecting the mounting place, please observe the below mentioned
relevant safety notes.
Walls and ceilings with a u-value of less than 0.4 W/m
2
K must be
additionally guarded by means of suitable manners. The u-value repre-
sents a heat transmission coefficient, which describes the heat transmis-
sion through a material layer when two different temperatures are present
on either side of such a layer.
As fire consumes oxygen in the room’s air, tilt open a window for airing
and to prevent lack of oxygen. Make sure to provide sufficient supply of
fresh air. The first signs of insufficient oxygen are e.g. sudden physical
fatigue and an impaired ability to concentrate.
Only use the wall fireplace in rooms of adequate size. The room size
should have at least 20 m
2
with a room height of 2.20 m.
