Operating the Hair Cutter
Before first Use
Remove the unit and the accessory out of the packaging. Keep packaging
materials out of reach of children. There is risk of suffocation!
Connection to Power Mains
Before plugging the unit into the mains socket, make sure that the mains
voltage corresponds to the operating voltage on the type label.
Do
not
use the unit for cutting wet hair; it is only suitable for cutting dry
hair.
After 10 minutes of continuous operation allow the unit to cool down
for 20 minutes
Preparation
Make sure the hair clipper is in good condition and oiled.
Place a towel around the neck of the person to prevent bits of hair falling
down the collar.
Sit the person whose hair is being cut on a chair so that the hair is level
with your eyes.
Before cutting, comb the hair through carefully to remove any knots. The
hair has to be dry.
Remove the protection cap (1) from the blades and hold the clipper lightly
in your hand so that you can always clip accurately when cutting.
Use of the Comb Attachments
(for medium and long hair)
1. Slide the comb into the blades, keeping the teeth facing upwards.
2. First cut just a small area so that you can get
used to the cutting length of the individual comb
attachments.
We recommend starting with the comb attach-
ment for long hair. Then use a shorter comb if
required.
Comb attachment (BLENDING) for approx. 3 mm long hair
Comb attachment ¼ ” CUT for approx. 6 mm long hair
Comb attachment ½ ” CUT for approx. 9 mm long hair
Comb attachment ¾ “ CUT for approx. 12 mm long hair
