a. Select the

b. On the “Image file to use:” window, navigate to the location of your target image file,
then click
Open
.
5. Select the security type for your target.
None
: Does not assign security for your target.
CHAP
: Assigns Challenge Handshake Authentication Protocol (CHAP) security to
your target.

If you’d like to change your User Name, click
Edit
. Note that the name must match
your initiator CHAP name.

Enter your Target Secret. The Target Secret is a security key that must be between
12 to 16 alphanumeric characters.
6. Click
Create Target
.
Edit an iSCSI Target
1. On the iSCSI Tasks pane, click
Edit Target Settings
.
2. Modify the required and optional settings as desired.
3. Click
Modify Target
.
