Safety Precautions
When using electrical appliances, basic safety precautions should always be
followed including:
• Read all instructions, including these important safeguards and the care and
use instructions in this manual.
• Do not use appliance for other than intended use.
• The use of accessory attachments not recommended by Focus Electrics may
cause fire, electric shock, or injury.
• Keep hands and utensils away from moving blades or discs while processing
food to reduce the risk of severe injury to persons or damage to the food pro

cessor. A scraper may be used, but must be used only when the food proces

sor is not running.
• Blades are sharp. Handle carefully.
• To reduce the risk of injury, never place the cutting blade or slice/shred disc on
base without first putting container properly in place.
• Always be sure cover is securely locked in place before operating appliance.
• Do not attempt to defeat the cover interlock mechanism.
• Never feed food by hand. Always use food pusher.
• Always avoid contacting moving parts.
• Do not operate if the appliance is not working properly or if it has been dam

• Do not attempt to repair this appliance yourself.
• Unplug from outlet when not in use, before putting on or taking off attach
