1. Basic information
These operating instructions are intended to familiarise the ice cube maker operator with its
functions, safety instructions and cleaning procedures.
1.1 Appropriate use
The ice cube maker is a technical medium, which is intended for work use only.
The ice cube maker is exclusively intended for the production of ice cubes from hygienically
clean drinking water. Appropriate use particularly includes compliance with all instructions
contained in the operating instructions.
Any other use requires written approval from the manufacturer. Inappropriate use may create
certain risks. Inappropriate uses includes the production of ice cubes from a different substance
than drinking water.
1.2 Obligation and liability
1.2.1 Operator obligations
A prerequisite for safe and trouble-free operation of this ice cube maker is knowledge of and
compliance with the safety instructions and safety regulations. This operating instructions -
especially the safety instructions - must be heeded by
all persons
operating the unit. In
addition, all locally applicable rules and regulations governing the prevention of accidents must
be heeded.
ADVICE:
Do not let any child or a disabled person without surveillance near the icemaker ! the Icemake
ist not a toy for children!
1.2.2 Warranty and liability
For warranty and liability, our "General terms and conditions" apply. Warranty and liability claims
for personal injury or damage to property are excluded, if they were caused by one or more of
the following:
inappropriate use of the machine;
improper assembly, commissioning, operation and maintenance of the machine;
machine operation with safety devices that are faulty, incorrectly installed or non-
functioning;
failure to observe the instructions in the operating instructions regarding transport,
storage, assembly, commissioning, operation and maintenance of the machine;
unauthorised modifications of the machine;
inadequate monitoring of machine components that are subject to wear;
improper repairs;
cleaning and maintenance not carried out regularly;
external influence or force majeure.
