7.7.3 Diagnostic alarms
The appropriate alarm module should be set up in the controller in the case of an alarm message originating
from the connection box by short circuit at the ports (hardware interrupt OBs OB40-OB47). If this is not the
case, the CPU goes into the STOP mode in the case of an interrupt triggering event. The following alarm mes-
sages are output from the connection box to the controller:
