OPERATING THIS RECIPROCATING SAW
Power Switch and Lock Button
To start saw, Pull power switch with
finger. The more the trigger is pulled,
the faster the saw blade moves. The
maximum speed can be set using the
variable speed dial. (See figure 3)
To maintain a specific speed, squeeze the trigger enough for the saw to
reach desired speed. While holding the trigger constant, press the lock-
on button and release the trigger simultaneously.
To stop the saw, simply press the power switch and the lock-on button
will be disengaged. Now, release the power switch.
GENERAL CUTTING
Hold your saw firmly in front and clearly away from you. Make sure the
saw blade is clear of any material and that the power cord and
extension cord are out of the blade path. Be sure all materials to be cut
are held firmly. Small work pieces should be securely clamped in a vise
or with clamps to the workbench or table. Mark the line to cut clearly.
Pull in the power switch to start
the cutting action. Set the Shoe on
the work, and then move the blade
into the work.
