Specific Safety Rules for the Reciprocating Saw
1.
Hold tool by insulated gripping surfaces when cutting in areas where the
blade may come in contact with hidden wiring or it’s own power cord.
Contact with live wiring will cause non-insulated parts of the saw to
become live and if touched, shock the operator.
2.
Do not start the saw with the blade touching any surface. The blade
action will cause kickback, which can result in injury.
3.
Allow the blade to come to a complete stop before putting the saw
down. A moving blade can come in contact with something and cause the
saw to bounce or turn which can result in material or bodily damage.
USAGE
This reciprocating saw is designed for heavy-duty uses. Please refer to
Figure 1 to familiarize yourself with the major components of this tool
before using it.
