PREVENTATIVE MAINTENANCE CARD

WRT-6 ROTISSERIE

CLEANING INSTRUCTIONS

PREPARATIONS:

Turn POWER SWITCH to 

OFF

.  Disconnect power at circuit breaker.

Allow rotisserie to cool beforecleaning.

FREQUENCY:           Daily

TOOLS:

Plastic Scouring Pad, Plastic Scraper
Mild detergent, Conventional Oven Cleaner
Clean Cloth / Sponge
Solution, 4 parts vinegar to 10 parts warm water

1.

Remove and clean:
a.

Inserts

b.

Drip tray

c.

Spits, skewers and baskets.

2.

Clean interior of rotisserie.
a. Remove any grease or burnt-on deposits using mild detergents and plastic

scrapers.

b.

For deposits which cannot be easily removed, use a conventional oven

cleaner.

c.

Wipe oven cleaners off promptly.  If an oven cleaner was used, rinse the
cleaned area with vinegar solution.

d.

Dry thoroughly after cleaning.

3.

Clean exterior of rotisserie.  

NEVER USE ABRASIVE SCRUB PADS

 on the

outside of the rotisserie.   Always read and follow all instructions and warnings on

the container when using commercial cleaners.  Dry thoroughly after cleaning.

4.

Clean door glass.  

NEVER USE ABRASIVE SCRUB PADS

 on the glass.

Always read and follow all instructions and warnings on the container when using
commercial cleaners.

5. Reinstall drip tray, inserts, spits, skewers and baskets at the conclusion of 

cleaning.

6.

Restore power.  Turn POWER SWITCH to 

ON

.  Close door.

a.

Manually rotate rotisserie.  Carefully observe and verify proper installation

of  spits and baskets.

b.

Correct any interference between spits and baskets.

Procedure is complete
