MECHANICAL INSTALLATION

The following is a step-by-step procedure for installation of the Recirculating Hoods.

1.

Un-crate the downdraft unit, being very careful

not to dent or scratch the outer surface.

2.

NOTE:

Report any damage to the delivering

freight carrier and file a claim if appropriate.

Check the nameplate on the equipment to make

certain it meets the specifications provided by

the architect and or engineer.  If discrepancies

exist, notify the manufacturer immediately.

3.  It’s important that you have read and understand

“Site Preparation” before continuing with the
installation of the hood.

4.

Determine the exact location of the downdraft

unit.

5.

Place the unit into position.

6.

Complete the assembly of the sneeze guard, on page 6,

to the top of main unit.

7.

Install the side kick plates, with provided screws, to the

main body of the unit.

8.

Install the front and rear kick plates, with provided screws,

to the side kick plate.
