enough blood has been drawn up the test and you can move the finger away from the
strip.
Note :
If “E-8“ message appears on the screen after applying blood, it means the volume of
blood is insufficient.
Please remove the strip and repeat the test with a new test strip. You may want to try
a deeper lancet setting to ensure you get enough blood - the glucose test strip needs
at least 0,5 µl of blood.
6. The meter will countdown from 5 to 1 and will then display the blood glucose result.
7. To remove the test strip, gently slide the strip ejector until the used strip comes out
of the test port. Alternatively, you can manually pull out the used strip.
Remove the used lancet from the lancing device by pushing the eject button forwards
with your thumb, whilst also pulling the handle back.
8. Dispose of the used test strip and lancet in accordance with your local authority’s
guidelines.
