Use the woodburning pen only for
poker work on untreated wood,
leather or cork, or as a thermal
cutter for materials such as
polystyrene and PVC. Do not use
the woodburning pen on materials
with a lacquered surface.

the product or unauthorized

Risk of burns
The soldering tip heats up during
operation and if not handled properly
can result in burn marks, dimples
and at worst, burn wounds.
Do not touch the hot soldering tips
and keep them away from
inflammable objects.
Keep explosive and flammable
objects well away from the device.
Always place the soldering tool in
the safety holder provided. Make
sure the safety holder is stable.
Wear appropriate protective
clothing to protect yourself against
burns. Protect your eyes by
wearing eye protection.
Do not use the soldering tool in a
damp or wet environment.
Make sure the room is well
ventilated when using the product.
Before use check machine, cable,
and plug for any damages or
material fatigue. The soldering tool
must be operated only in perfect
technical working order.
Have damaged parts repaired by a
specialist.
If the replacement of the supply cord
is necessary, this has to be done by
the manufacturer or his agent in
order to avoid a safety hazard.
The power cable must only be
plugged into the power socket or
adapter approved for this purpose.
Check that the power supply voltage
is compatible with the connected
load of the soldering iron. Avoid
unintentional operation. Disconnect
the soldering tool from the power
supply while not in use.
Do not use the cable for purposes
other than those for which it is
intended.
Maintenance and repair
Before doing any work on the
machine, pull the plug out of the
socket. Follow the instructions on
soldering tip replacement. Use
original replacement parts only.
Always have your soldering tool
repaired by a qualified electrician.

Warranty
Weller supplies this device with a
warranty valid for seven (7) years
from the date of purchase. The
warranty relates to material and
manufacturing defects and covers
both replacement parts and labour.
The warranty shall be void if damage
is due to improper use and if the
device has been tampered with by
unauthorised persons.
This device conforms to the
specifications of the EC Declaration
of Conformity with Directives
2014/30/EU, 2014/35/EU and
2011/65/EU (RoHS).
