2.4. Additional programming options: SWING (temperature differential)
The thermo-transmitter operates the fireplace system whenever the ROOM TEMPERATURE diverts a certain number of
degrees from the
SET
temperature. This variation is called the
SWING
or temperature differential. A small
SWING
increases
the number of operating cycles in order to obtain a more stable temperature. A larger
SWING
decreases the number of
cycles. The factory setting for the
SWING
is 2°C.
2.4.1. Manuel check of SWING
The operation of the factory set THERMO
SWING
can be checked by adjusting the
SET TEMP
2°C above or below the
room temperature. This will cause the system to turn
ON
or
OFF
. Normally the system will only respond to temperature
changes every two minutes. Manually changing the SET temperature will activate the system in less than 10 seconds. If the
SWING
is changed, the system will respond to a new temperature differential (1°C, 2°C or 3°C above or below room
temperature).
