1. SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS

IMPORTANT: READ AND UNDERSTAND THE ENTIRE USER MANUAL CAREFULLY. PAY ATTENTION TO

THE OPERATIONAL SAFETY REQUIREMENTS AND WARNINGS. USE THIS PRODUCT CORRECTLY

PROPERLY, WITH CARE AND FOR THE PURPOSE FOR WHICH IT IS INTENDED. FAILURE TO DO SO

MAY FAILURE TO DO SO MAY CAUSE DAMAGE OR PERSONAL INJURY AND WILL INVALIDATE THE

VOIDS WARRANTY. KEEP THIS MANUAL IN A SAFE PLACE FOR FUTURE REFERENCE.

WARNING! THIS HELMET IS NOT SUITABLE FOR USE WITH LASER WELDING AND/OR OXYGEN AND ACETYLENE

WELDING AND CUTTING PROCESSES

When using welding equipment and accessories, ensure that all safety rules, regulations and conditions of the workplace

are met. The helmet does not protect against misuse or abuse of tools, equipment or accessories. Keep the helmet in good

condition, protect it from contact with moisture and dirt. Replace the outer shell regularly and replace any damaged or

worn part. Use only original parts. Unauthorised parts may be dangerous and will invalidate the warranty. Never tamper

with, open or repair the cassette yourself. Select the desired colour number using the adjusting knob on the left side. Make

sure that the chosen colour number is the right one for your application (see colour information table). Before use, ensure

that the outdoor splash guard is securely installed. Adjust the headband so that the welding helmet sits as low as possible

on the head and is close to the face. Only use the welding helmet in temperatures from -5° C to +55° C (23° F -131° F).

The visibility window is NOT unbreakable. The helmet does not protect you from serious consequences of inhaling toxic

fumes. The helmet also does not protect against fumes/particles from abrasive discs, grinding wheels, stones and other

grinding tools, explosives or corrosive liquids. The helmet only protects the eyes and face from welding sparks, welding

splatter and harmful radiation under normal welding conditions. Remove ill-fitting clothing, remove ties, watches, rings and

other loose or hanging jewellery. Make sure you are balanced and have firm footing. Make sure the floor is not slippery and

wear shoes that prevent slipping. Keep children and unauthorised persons away from the work area.

WARNING!

Do not use the helmet if it is damaged or you think it does not work properly (contact your supplier). Do not use the helmet

unless you have been instructed in its use by a qualified person. Do not allow the helmet to get wet or use it in a damp or

wet environment. Be sure to flip the helmet up when leaving the work area, as a bright light source can cause the vision

window to darken unexpectedly. Never place the helmet or the cartridge on a hot surface. Clean the helmet after use (see

5.5) and store it in a safe, dry place that is inaccessible to children.

DANGEROUS!

If, at any time, the viewing window of the cassette does not darken when a welding arc is ignited, stop welding

immediately. Remove the cartridge and return it (or the entire helmet) to your dealer for inspection. If you continue to use

the helmet despite knowing that the viewing window is NOT FUNCTIONAL, YOUR EYES CAN BE DAMAGED and RISK

OF BLINDNESS. Continued use of a non-functioning Continued use of a non-functioning helmet will void the warranty.

This also rules out a successful claim with any insurance company, irrevocably.
