water system, which has not been used within a fortnight or
longer. Hydrogen is explosive. If you have not operated the
hot-water system within such a period of time, open all hot-
water taps and let the water flow for several minutes to
release the hydrogen. During this period do not smoke and
do not use any open flames or naked light, because
hydrogen is flammable.
