REMOVE CIRCUIT BOARDS.
LAY UNIT ON ITS BACK AND UNSCREW 4 SCREWS FROM THE BOTTOM OF
THE PRINTER CHARGER. REMOVE BOTTOM PLATE. SEE FIG. 5-1 ABOVE.

2. REMOVE TOP HOUSING.
UNSCREW 3 SCREWS (SEE FIGURE BELOW) VISIBLE THROUGH OBLONG
SLOT. THESE HOLD THE TOP HOUSING TO THE PRINTER BOARD. UN-
SCREW THE SCREW HOLDING THE WIRE TO THE TOP HOUSING ASSEM-
BLY. PULL THE TOP HOUSING STRAIGHT UP.
NOTE:
ALL STANDS BUILT PRIOR TO MARCH 1988 (SEE THE DATE ON THE BOT-
TOM OF THE PRINTER / CHARGER ), MUST HAVE THE TOP HOUSING AS-
SEMBLY REPLACED WITH THE NEW ASSEMBLY (#711605-501), WHICH
PREVENTS ELECTRO STATIC DISCHARGE DAMAGE.
