1. Open the battery compartment

by removing the battery compartment cover

2. To replace the batteries, remove the old batteries first. Insert 2 batteries (size AAA) in the battery
compartment.
3. Close the battery compartment by putting the battery compartment cover back on until it has securely
locked into place.
System settings
The system settings allow you to select users and set the date, time and time format.
1. Push the Start/Stop button

to switch the blood pressure monitor on. The time and
date will now be shown in alternation on the display

).
2. Push and hold the M1 button

, then push the Start/Stop button so that the year lights
up as shown in Fig. 1.
3. Push the M1 or M2 button

to set the correct number and then confirm with the Start/
Stop button.
4. As soon as you have entered the year, the month indicator will automatically blink. To set the month, day
and time, please proceed as described in section 3.
