Working with units
4.3.1 Overview
Each system can have multiple units of different types.
The default unit name for the unit is the module name, followed by #, followed by the
unit address. You can change this name to (e.g. Pump Station 14) as described
below. We recommend keeping the unit address at the end of the unit name.
WL Series Configuration Software lets you sort the units in the tree view by address or
unit name. To sort the tree view select View » Sort Tree View » by Name/by Address
4.3.2 Adding units to a Project
Select ‘Units’ under the project in the tree view to see the options for adding modules
to your project. If you have a module connected you can load it directly into the project
by pressing <Load a New Unit> this will read the settings from the module and add
them to the project.
To add a new module with default settings press the <Add a New Unit> button.
To delete a unit, select the unit name in the tree view and press the <Delete Unit>
button in the right hand side panel.
To duplicate a WL-RX-900 module: select the unit in the tree view; right click; and
select Copy Unit from the shortcut menu. This will not work for WL-TX-900 modules.
