Disconnection
Î
After the end of the testing procedure, fully vent the media
line.
Caution:
First depressurize the system before releasing
the connection. Thanks to the integrated safety design, the
clamping jaws maintain a secure connection and do not
open until pressure has decreased to a safe value below
5 bar.
Î
Grip the connector by its base unit (Pos. 1).
Î
Actuate the clamping lever (Pos. 2) back to its initial position
Î
Move the connector slightly in the direction of the test piece
). The clamping jaws open. The connection to the
test piece is released and the connector can be removed by
pulling it straight back.
Attention:
In the event that you cannot remove the connec-
tor from the test piece:
- Wait a few moments
- Never use excessive force
- Do not use any tools (e.g. hammer)
- Make sure that the connector is depressurized.
