Note on the cleaning interval of the filter cartridge
- The service life of the filter cartridge (Pos. 2) is primarily dictated by the conditions
of the overall system. Filter cartridge inspections should therefore be carried out as
occasion demands.
If you should see any anomalies in the system that may have caused contamination
of any kind, then please inspect the filter cartridge as part of your inspection work.
Excessive refueling times may be an indication that the filter cartridge is
contaminated.
Depending on the degree of contamination, it may be necessary for the operator to
set a suitable maintenance schedule independently.
Products that are used at sea or in the vicinity of the sea must be sent to WEH for
maintenance after one year at the latest.
To replace the filter cartridge, the housing seals and the O-ring on the plug, observe
Chapter 8.4.1 Replacing the O-ring on the plug (Pos. 210) on page 21 and
Chapter 8.4.2 Replacing the housing seals and the filter cartridge (Ø38,0 mm) on

If your application requires, set shorter intervals thanindicated above. A significant
shortening of the minimum intervals is particularly necessary if abnormalities are
found during the inspections.
