6.
The [AUDIO CLIPPING] screen displays
only
during recording
while
the audio clip
indication is detected by the internal audio processing card.
3.4.3 Front-panel Message Screens
The ‘Network Message’ and ‘Record’ indicator screens are shown at the bottom of Figure 3-3
.
1.
The higher priority screen is the [NOC RECORDING] screen. This is shown when
Network Control is actually recording spots under network control (direct or scheduled).
2.
The Network Message screen is shown in the Home Level, in place of the Time/Date
screen, only if there is a message to be displayed. Only the network may delete the
message.
3.4.4 Second and Third Level Screens
The second level screens provide most of the lead-in control menus. Most are NOT accessible
when local control is disabled (See section 1.5.2, and sections 3.5 through 3.10.).
The third level screens are accessible only by pressing <ENTER> from second level screens.
1.
Record Local Spot
. This screen is accessed by pressing <ENTER> from one of several
of the Home Level Screens. Pressing <SELECT> will scroll through, while pressing
<ENTER> will take you to the menus where you can record a local spot or view which
spot locations are used and which are empty.
On the ‘Unused Local Spots’ screen, the ‘x’s represent spots which have been recorded,
and the numbers represent spot locations which have not been recorded. For instance, if
spot #1 and #3 are unused and available, then the screen is [Unused Spt1x3xxx]. You
can then record spots in either location #1 or #3.
NOTE: You do not have to erase a spot to record another in that location. Because of
this, you should be very careful not to “erase” a needed spot by recording over it.
For an explanation of spot recording, see section 3.7.
2.
Microphone Sensitivity
.
Pressing <ENTER> will take you to a screen where you can
change the microphone sensitivity, or just determine its current setting.
See Section 3.6 for an explanation of this feature.
3.
Play Local Spot
.
At this screen, pressing <ENTER> will take you to the screens where
you can play local spots.
See Section 3.8 for the details of playing local spots.
