BATTERY PACK

The battery pack for your hedge trimmer is

equipped with nickel--cadmium rechargeable

batteries. Length of service from each charg-

ing will depend on the type of work you are do-

ing.

The battery in this tool has been designed to

provide maximum trouble--free life. However,

like all batteries, it will eventually wear out.

Do

not

disassemble battery pack and/or attempt

to replace the batteries.

To obtain the longest possible battery life:

S

Do not store or charge the battery pack in

an area of extreme heat or cold. It will work

best at normal room temperature.

S

Never store battery pack in a discharged

condition. Recharge the battery pack im-

mediately after use.

S

All batteries gradually lose their charge.

The higher the temperature, the quicker

they will lose their charge. If you store your

hedge trimmer for long periods without us-

ing it, recharge the battery pack every

month to help prolong battery life.
