a) ‘Enable Plug and Save’ – this will bring up a dialog box as shown in Figure 2 every time a camera
with images stored in it’s memory is plugged into the PC

b) ‘Disable video when images in camera’ – This will warn the user when they attempt to start a
video application with images in the camera, See figure 4
c) ‘Exit on Close’ – closes down the Camera Control application(the user will not be warned that there
are images in the camera when opening a Video ‘VFW’ application)

If you click ‘Yes’, all the images in the camera will be stored to C:\My Documents\. They are stored in
the format ‘day_month_year_time_image number.bmp’ (see Figure 3). You can change the file name
and directory in the usual manner.

After saving the images the CamCtrl application now gives you the option to delete all the images in
the camera, Figure 4.
