Eval Mode
You must choose the evaluation mode before setting
the following parameters.
dbRef Mode
This parameter is only visible when dB REF has been
selected in Eval Mode .
You can switch the evaluation method on or off.
Gate A Start
This is the same function as in the function group
Gates (see page 146).
Eval Source
This parameter is only visible when DAC , JISDAC or
CNDAC has been selected in Eval Mode .
You can choose between the A-scan and the envelope
curve as basis for the evaluation.
Eval Points Source
This parameter is only visible when DAC , JISDAC or
CNDAC has been selected in Eval Mode .
For creating and editing the DAC curve points you have
two options:
● DAC Table : The DAC table is defined with the soft-
ware Mentor Create.
● Custom : You can record the DAC points with the in-
strument.
The software Mentor Create is described in a separate
manual.
Define Points
This parameter is only visible when DAC , JISDAC or
CNDAC has been selected in Eval Mode .
You can set the number of points to be recorded.
