FIRST
USE
Before
using
for

first
time,
please
remove
all

various
packaging
materials

wipe
off

unit

dampened
cloth.

that

can

opened
to

full
extent.

Apply
a
light
coating
of
butter,
margarine
or
cooking
fat
to

heating
plates
using
a
brush
or
a
cloth,
before
using
the
device
for

first
time.
This
helps
to
seal
the
heating
plates
and
must
only
be
carried
out
one
time.

Subsequently,
shut
the
lid.
During
operation
and
warm
up,
this
must
always
be
closed.
Plug
the
device
into
a
suitable
mains
socket
(the
green
and
red
operation
lights
light
up)
and
switch
the
device
on.

The
waffle
plate
requires
approx.
4
‐
5
minutes
to
warm
up.
When
the
desired
temperature
has
been
attained,
the
green
operation
light
goes
out.

When
using

first
time,
you
may
notice
slight
smoke
and
odor.

will
not
recur
and

due
to
the
final
production
residues,
which
are
harmless.

After
this
warm
up
process,
allow
the
device
to
thoroughly
cool
down.

clean

OPERATION

Plug

into

properly
installed
mains
socket
and
switch

device
on,
by
turning

adjustment
knob
to
the
right
temperature
level.
