CHAPTER 5
Connecting Cables to
Electronics Components
The HPSA-7100-R electronics cabinet contains all of the components required to
successfully process audio through the HPSA-7100-R to the speaker array and interface
with the external audio system. This chapter provides instructions for connecting the
speaker, control and power cables.
The following sections are included in this chapter:

Connecting AC Mains to the HPSA
Refer to Appendix C, "Driver/Speaker, Audio Input and Control Wire Gauge Distances"
for additional information with respect to identifying proper Driver/Speaker and Control
wire gauges for site specific distances.
5.1 WIRING SPEAKER CABLES TO THE ELECTRONICS
CABINET

INSTALLATION OF THE HPSA SHOULD BE IN A LIMITED ACCESS
AREA OR THE USE OF A LOCK ON THE CABINET IS REQUIRED TO
LIMIT ACCESS TO TRAINED SERVICE PERSONNEL ONLY.
Driver (Speaker) wiring and connectors are included in kit
P/N CAB-SPKR-KIT. It is strongly recommended that only the
connectors and cable supplied with CAB-SPKR-KIT be used during
installation and connection of the the Speakers to the HPSA.
