Maintenance
We recommend having your M-750 serviced at least once a year by an authorized

TidalForce dealer for regular bicycle maintenance in order to ensure safety and keep
components in proper working order.

Bicycle Care
Throughout the year, there are simple steps you can take to inspect and maintain your

M-750:
1.

Every week or two, tighten all nuts and bolts.  Check all hardware to see that no

parts are worn, damaged or missing. Make certain that the frame and fork alignment
are true and that all components are seated in the right position.

 CAUTION:

YOUR M-750 IS WATER RESISTANT, BUT NOT WATERPROOF.

CLEANING SHOULD BE DONE WITH LOW-PRESSURE WATER AND A GOOD BRUSH.
AVOID SPRAYING WATER DIRECTLY INTO THE HUBS OR WIRING HARNESS

CONNECTORS.
2.

Clean the frame and all parts regularly with a moist cloth or sponge.  Do not

immerse the bicycle completely in water and avoid using the hose and/or soaking the
battery and motor areas.  Be sure to dry the bike completely with a soft towel to

prevent rusting and corrosion.

3.

Replace worn or damaged control cables.  Do not kink cables.  Cables stretch with

use and must be adjusted accordingly.  Keep brake and derailleur cables lubricated
to prevent them from corroding internally.

4.

Replace worn grips.  Make sure they fit snugly.

5.

Check the chain regularly for evidence of wear or corrosion.

Recharging the Batteries
Only use an approved WaveCrest battery charger. Failure to do so may result in
damage to the battery and will void the warranty of the motor, battery, and

charger. The front hub battery and optional second battery are each charged onboard the
bicycle using the battery charger supplied with your M-750.  The U.S. specification battery

charger operates on standard 110 VAC 60 Hz power.  Be sure to have the correct charger
for your country.  Contact a local TidalForce dealer or the WaveCrest Customer Support

Team at 888-880-1988 if you have the wrong charger or if it is not functioning properly.
The charger includes a single tri-color LED to indicate charging states as defined in
