Troubleshooting
If the pump fails to operate, make the following checks:
Check that the dedicated external DC power supply unit is plugged into a working mains power source
which isswitched on. Check thatthepower supply unit’sLED isilluminated (if fitted).
•
Check that the dedicated external DC power supply unit’s output connector is plugged into the
pump.
If the pump runs but there is little or no flow, make the following checks:
•
Check thatfluid issupplied to thepump.
•
Check for any kinksor blockagesin thelines.
•
Check thatany valvesin thelineareopen.
•
Check thatthetube and rotor arein thepumphead.
•
Check thatthetube isnotsplitor burst.
•
Check thatthecorrectwall-thicknesstube isbeing used.
•
Check thedirection of rotation.
•
Check thattherotor isnotslipping on thedrive shaft.
•
Check that tubing is installed in the pumphead; for 120F pumps, check that it is Pumpsil—other
tubing materials are not suitable for use in a 120F pump; check that the tubing is the correct wall
thickness: 1.6mm.
Error codes
120F
The LED beside the
START
key flashes to indicate a fault. Fast flashing—¼ second on, ¼ second off —
indicatesan error which may beresolved by cycling thepower; if thefaultisnotresolved, contactyour local
service centre. Slow flashing— ½ second on, ½ second off—indicatesa fault which requiresthe pump to be
returned to your localservice centre.
120S and 120U
If an internalerror occurs, an error screen isdisplayed.
