      Once the bottom quarter (1/4) is wet, slowly immerse entire bag,  

 

 

 

      squeezing gently to remove air. If the bag “puffs up,” you are immers-   

 

 

      ing it too quickly.

 

 

    •  Once the bag has been immersed, remove from the water and rinse it    

 

 

      by pouring more distilled water over bag to remove any carbon fi nes    

 

 

      (dust).

 

 

 

Install Filter

 

 

  Be sure carbon is evenly distributed within bag, then place bag in fi lter  

 

   

housing 

(fi g. D). Replace cover on housing and place lid on carafe.

 

 

   

Replace Filter

 

 

  The fi lter should be replaced as inicated by fi lter status bar (every two to  

 

 

 

  three months). Replace more often should the distilled water begin to have

 

  

  an unwanted taste or odor. Reset the fi lter status bar by pressing and hold-

 

 

  ing the “Delay” button (fi g. A) for seven seconds. Discard fi rst gallon of  

 

 

 

  distilled water as it may contain small, harmless carbon fi nes. Order re-

USING THE COUNTERTOP PURIFIER

 

 

  Operational maintenance and replacement requirements are essential for    

 

 

  this product to perform as advertised.

 

 

    1.   Set Purifi er on a dry, level, well-supported, stable surface.

fi ll kettle to “MAX” lines with approximately 1 gallon ordi-

    3.   Replace kettle cover. Twist clockwise to lock. slide kettle into base unit   

 

 

      and press fi rmly to ensure kettle is properly placed (fi g. C).

 

 

    4.   Place carafe on base unit and plug power cord into a GROUNDED

    5.   Press the ”Start/Stop” button to turn Purifi er on (fi g. C). The “On”  

 

   

 

 

light 

will 

illuminate.

 

 

    6.   After the cycle is complete (approximately four hours) the Purifi er turns  

 

 

      off automatically.
