Making Ethernet connections

To make Ethernet connections:

1. Unpack and install the preconfigured workstation.

2. Connect one end of one Ethernet cable to the network switch, and then

connect the other end to the Ethernet card, on the workstation.

Tip:

On preconfigured systems, the Ethernet card is identified as the

Instrument LAN card.

3. Connect one end of one Ethernet cable to the back of the detector, and

then connect the other end to the network switch.
