Tip:
When connecting the detector to a chromatography data workstation, all
detector parameters not configurable by the chromatography data software in
use, defer to local control.
2.6.4 Starting a method
To start a method on the detector at the start of an injection from the 2695 (IEEE)
separations module, make the connections summarized in the table and illustrated in
the figure below.
Requirement:
Connect the inject-start cable is only if the 2695 is configured in
IEEE mode. If the 2695 is configured in Ethernet mode, do not connect the
inject-start cable.

Note:
If the injector is an 2695 separations module running in Ethernet mode, the
inject start cable should not be connected. However, if the injector is an 2695
separations module running in IEEE mode, the inject start cable should be connected.
