MUVPN Clients
MUVPN clients uses Internet Protocol Security (IPSec) to establish
a secure connection over an unsecured network from a remote
computer to your protected network.
For example, the MUVPN client is installed on an employee’s
computer, on the road or working from home. The employee
establishes a standard Internet connection and activates the
MUVPN client. The MUVPN client then creates an encrypted
tunnel, protected behind a SOHO 6 Wireless, to your trusted or
optional network depending on if it is a wired or wireless
connection. A wired connection goes to the trusted and the
wireless connection goes to the optional. The MUVPN client
allows you to provide remote access to your internal networks
without compromising security.
If you have a wireless network, you can configure the wireless
network to require wireless computers to have an encrypted
MUVPN connection to access the SOHO 6 Wireless. The SOHO 6
Wireless includes several MUVPN client licenses. You can add
