5. Battery Precautions
• When battery replacement is needed, replace both AAA batteries together for the best battery lifetime.
• The design allows for battery replacement without removing the alarm from the window.
• The LED indicator will blink continuously indicating a low battery and will send a notification straight to
the user’s phone through the Wstein app.
• Use only the appropriate size batteries.
• Be sure to follow the correct polarity when installing the batteries. Incorrect polarity may cause damage
to the alarm.
• Do not mix different types of batteries, such as alkaline with carbon-zinc or old batteries with new.
• Do not recharge batteries not intended to be recharged as they can overheat and rupture.
• Batteries may result in heat generation, explosion or fire, resulting in personal injuries.
• Batteries must not be recharged, disassembled or disposed of in fire. Disposal of used batteries must be
made in accordance with the waste recovery and recycling regulations of your area.
• Keep away from small children. If batteries are swallowed, promptly seek medical attention.

Step 2: Connect your mobile device to your home Wi-Fi network.
