Regulatory Information
All models are designed to be compliant with rules and regulations
in locations they are sold and will be labeled as required.
Any changes or modifications to equipment not expressly ap-
proved by Wasp Barcode Technologies could void the user's au-
thority to operate the equipment.
Power Supply
This device is intended to be connected to a UL Listed/CSA Cer-
tified computer which supplies power directly to the reader or else
be supplied by UL Listed/CSA Certified Power Unit marked
“Class 2” or LPS power source rated 5.2V minimum 600mA for
WLS9600, which supplies power directly to the reader via the
power connector of the cable.
Use only authorized power supplies supplied by your Wasp re-
seller. The use of any other power supplies can damage the reader
and void your warranty.

To avoid or minimize the potential risk of ergo-
nomic injury, follow the recommendations below.
Consult with your local Health & Safety Manager
to ensure that you are adhering to your com-
pany’s safety programs to prevent employee
injury.
For USB Power Off Terminal applications, attach to
USB 1.0, 1.1 or 2.0 host device only.
