The UPS is usually delivered with deactivated Boost, say Boost mode, start by: voltage, current and 
period and stop by current are "Disabled". 
To be able to activate the Boost, you have to go to the expert level. 
 

Attention: 

The activation of the battery test is only allowed by trained personnel
